Summer (June and July) tuition may be paid per session, per month, per week and per class. Class Cards are only good for Adult Ballet and Stretch Classes. Payment and Registration Policies: • Registration and payment must be complete prior to beginning classes. • Registration fee is per family basis of $25 before May 15th, and $35 after. • Registration is for the entire year and students/parents are responsible for payments throughout the end of the school year, unless written notification is received the month prior to withdrawal. Re-registering will incur an additional $35 fee. • Registration fees and tuition are non-refundable beyond the first day of class, except in the case of serious illness or injury, verified by a doctor’s written confirmation. • Missed classes may be made up only within the month they were missed. • There is a $35 return check charge. • Monthly tuition is due on the 1st and late after the 5th. • By The Class: 45 minute classes = $10.00/hour 1 hour classes = $15.00/class 1.5 hour classes = $15.00/class + Yearly Registration Fee & Permission of Instructor 2 hour classes = $20/class **Options: student is entitled to take any available classes from his/her level. All students are placed in levels with respect to age and ability, according to the teacher. Students must audition and be enrolled in Tech IV, V or Tech VI in order to perform with the Alabama Youth Ballet. Auditions will be on an ongoing basis, based on invitation and class participation. Dress Suggestions: Girls – Tank or Camisole leotards • Creative Movement – pale pink tank or short-sleeve • Tech I – light blue tank leotard • Tech II – white, black or solid color tank or cami • Tech III – white, black or solid color pinch-front cami • Tech IV,V,VI – white, black or solid color pinch-front cami (Note: it is a good idea for all girls in Tech III – IV to have a black, white, and nude colored tank or cami leotard.) • Tights – pink nylon stretch – no stretch and hold tights, please. • Adult Ballet – any color and style. • Shoes: o Ballet – pink split-sole, preferably with pink ankle ribbons o Pointe – pink o Character – Black character shoes o Jazz – slip-on tan o Hip-Hop – dance sneaker Boys – fitted white T-Shirt, black tights held in place by a belt rolled with the tights to the waist. Dance Belt. Black or white split-sole ballet shoes, and white socks over tights. |
